Betty Godwin Mackie wears different hats as a business consultant, designer, health insurance agent, medical administrator, and more. She is a trained educator in English literature, and also works as a professional Technical Writer. Betty is married to Chris Donovin, who is a licensed and certified physician assistant. She is a UNC Charlotte graduate in English literature. She has also attended East Tennessee State University (ETSU) where she pursued a degree in Liberal Arts.

She is a highly acclaimed Technical Writer having more than 30 years of experience under her belt.  She started her career as a trainer in English language & literature and writing at B and D training services.  Now she is serving as a professional technical writer. Possessing solid background in writing brochures, manuals, newspaper articles as well as grant writing, Betty has developed various skills as a professional technical writer.

Designs Unique Beach Tables and Beachwear
Betty Godwin Mackie designs and manufactures beach tables and beachwear for BeacheTable.com since 2007. She designs compact and lightweight beach tables to keep refreshments and other things off the sand.  She always comes up with new and innovative designs of beachwear along with the compact beach-tables in order to keep various belongings.

Designed and Inspected 5 Home Renovation Projects
Betty Godwin Mackie has also been involved in many home renovation projects. She has designed and even overseen 5 home renovations. She performs a number of roles and responsibilities in collaboration with the general contractors and sub-contractors.

• She locates water leaks in one of the projects that required working closely with engineers.
• Dealing with an uncooperative contractor for repair work that was assumed substandard.
• Holding back payment until jobs was completed to code and customer satisfaction.
• Dealing with landscaping firms that cut down wrong trees and have them re-planted on their expenses
• Dealing with a national window firm that sized and ordered the incorrect size windows and they were forced to cover the expenses incurred.

Likes & Interests
Betty Godwin Mackie has an interest in reading books and novels, go for swimming and bike rides. She sometimes goes for walk in the mountains and beaches. She also likes listening to classical music, & going for ballet shows and car shows.
