Betty Godwin Mackie is a Philanthropist Volunteering for the Literacy Council and Support March of Dimes

Betty Godwin Mackie is a widely sought after and highly-recognized professional, who has served as a business consultant, designer, health insurance agent, medical administrator and wore many hats in other professions. Apart from her professional life, she is a great and dedicated philanthropist and also volunteers for Literacy Council as office manager. She supports March of Dimes; which is a nonprofit organization working for the improvement in the health of babies and mothers. Betty is also associated with Susan G. Komen; a Breast Cancer foundation.

Betty Godwin Mackie is also a professional technical writer with a great expertise and wide knowledge in writing brochures, newspaper articles, manuals, and grant writing. She has worked as a trainer in English Language and literature, and is continuing writing at B and D Training Services. Currently, she is working as a technical writer with B and D Technical writing company.

Being a professional Technical Writer, Betty attended the North Carolina State University and is a UNC Charlotte graduate in English literature. Later, she had attended East Tennessee State University (ETSU) where she got a degree in Liberal Arts.  Pertaining to her personal life, she is married to Chris Donovin, who is a licensed and certified physician assistant. Betty is a soccer enthusiast and loves to travel in and around the United States.

During her free time, Betty Godwin Mackie likes to read books and novels, go for swimming and bike rides. Occasionally, she goes for walk in the mountains and beaches. She likes listening to classical music, goes for ballet shows and car shows.
